As a 47 year old who plays quite a bit of tennis, I felt that my fitness levels were fairly good but needed to work on my overall body strength. I was not sure how to go about it so decided to get a personal trainer. I started working with Dave just over a year ago. I can honestly say that the difference has been fantastic, not only do I feel stronger in my everyday life but my tennis has also improved and I am now playing in a higher league. I am not the most motivated person but working with Dave is always an enjoyable experience and his enthusiasm for his work cannot fail to rub off onto you.

I am a 34 year old male and have been working out in gyms and at home for about 10 years. Through those years I have found myself trying a large range of different programs, but always found myself lacking in motivation and direction.
Just over a year ago I started training with Dave. As a keen runner I explained that my overall aim was to increase my fitness and stamina but I would also like to reduce fat and increase muscle mass. I train with Dave four times a week and follow the training plans he has developed for me to combine cardio and weights. When I train with Dave the sessions are always fun, but more importantly he always manages to motivate me to achieve my maximum potential, something I always find difficult to do on my own. I can honestly say I have achieved more in one year training with Dave than I did over the previous 9 years on my own.

As a regular user of the gym, mostly the free weight section, I felt that my body had the look of a fit person, yet in truth, my cardio vascular fitness fell someway short of this. Dave explained the importance of combining c.v and resistance training so that my body would benefit more from my gym sessions. Dave helped me push my fitness levels much higher than I thought was posible. I hated running long distances and Dave showed me how easy it was to adapt. Within a couple of months I was running up to 8k and still being able to smile. I would recommend Dave to anyone, obviously for what he knows, but more so for his approach in recognising your goals and your limits. He has an undying belief that anybody with the right help can get everything they desire.

 I am soon to be trekking the Great Wall of China to raise money for Bowel cancer and am currently training with Dave to make sure that I am ready for the challenge. I do not want to struggle through it, but be fit enough to actually enjoy it. I now feel I will do just that. My fitness has improved hugely in the last 6 months and I now do things that I would never thought possible. Dave is not just an exceptional trainer, but also a genuinely nice guy. He recently done a sponsored leg wax to help raise money for my charity. My sessions are always fun and I actually really look forward to them.

I am a young (!) 28 year old woman who was a little overweight to say the least. With the help of Dave and a sensible diet, I managed to lose nearly 3 stone. Dave's sessions are fantastic, he devised an exercise programme to help me achieve my goals and gave me plenty of encouragement and motivation and offered advice on healthy eating and exercises I could practice at home. Dave helped me to push my fitness levels to where I never thought possible. I used to run to the end of the road and be exhausted but can now happily run 5 miles and actually enjoy it! I have now reached my target weight and feel and look like a new person. I live and work abroad and training is part of my daily routine. Each year I spend 6 weeks over the summer in England, which has proved a problem in the past, as I have a tendency to pile on the weight and stop exercising completely. I set Dave the difficult challenge of motivating and training me for this short period. Within one session he had ascertained my fitness level and devised an effective programme for me to follow twice a week. He has been a fantastic trainer. Each session he has motivated me and made sure that I have pushed myself to achieve my potential (a real achievement when I am in holiday mode). Dave has demonstrated himself to be both professional and knowledgeable, combining these qualities with a sense of humour, which has made each session both enjoyable and rewarding.
